On the 31st day of October, the African Girls Education (AGE): Girls in 360° Leadership held a physical meeting with the following National Security Institutions:
1. Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps
2. Federal Road Safety Corps
3. Ondo State Security Network Agency Amotekun Corps
Both the FRSC and Amotekun Corps sincerely pledged their support in all ways to the African Girls Education (AGE): Girls in 360° Leadership.
The essence of the physical meeting is to establish a partnership and collaboration of AGE with security institutions in order to ensure the safety of the AFRICAN GIRLS EDUCATION.
The physical meeting was a great success and achievement as the AGE executive members were inspired with the partnership support from the security institutions.
The warmth accommodation demonstrated by the NSCDC Divisional Officer in person of CSC Fagite Valentine was highly exceptional and profound.
CSC Fagite Valentine reassured the AGE of their safety and promised to assign the attachment of physical security with the AGE during their systemic intervention programs and activities.
The below report was forwarded to the Ondo State Commandant by the Divisional Officer.

SUBJECT: OFFICIAL REPORT ON THE INTRODUCTION AND VISITATION OF “AFRICAN GIRLS EDUCATION (AGE): GIRLS IN 360° LEADERSHIP”.

Sir, I herewith write to give a report on the official introductory visit of the delegation from “African Girls Education (AGE): Girls in 360° Leadership” to the NSCDC Divisional Office, Akoko North East, Ikare Akoko, which took place today, 31st October 2025, at approximately 1127hrs.
The visiting team,an NGO with affiliations to the United Nations, is dedicated to the holistic advancement of the girl child. Their core mandates focus on:
· Education: Promoting and facilitating access to quality education.
· Safety: Ensuring a secure environment for the girl child.
· Leadership Development: Fostering a 360° leadership spirit among young girls.
The delegation was led by its Founder and Coordinator, Ambassador Dr. Temitope Felix Adetunji. A distinctive feature of the organization is its governance structure, which includes elected officials who are themselves teenage girls of school age and schooling in various schools in Ikare Akoko(Pilot and launch pad) with plans to penetrate into the remote and adjoining villages.
The meeting commenced with a formal introduction by the young elected officials of the AGE initiative.They articulately presented the organization’s vision, mission, and core objectives.
The officials sought the collaboration and support of the NSCDC Division in achieving their set goals. Their requests for partnership encompassed the following areas:
· Provision of security for their programs and members.
· Assistance in sourcing funds and materials.
· Collaboration on training and capacity-building initiatives.
· Other forms of logistical and moral support.
The Divisional Officer warmly welcomed the delegation and commended the initiative and eloquence of the young leaders, assuring them that they had approached the right agency, highlighting the strong alignment between the ideals of AGE and the statutory duties of the NSCDC. Key nexus points identified included:
· The Safe School Initiative.
· Protection of gender rights.
· Public enlightenment and advocacy.
· Security and safety training for vulnerable groups.
· Overall public security and safety.
The Divisional Officer pledged the Division’s willingness to explore avenues for a fruitful collaboration.
The Founder and Coordinator,Ambassador Dr. Temitope Felix Adetunji, formally thanked the Divisional Officer and staff present for the warm reception and positive engagement. He reiterated his request for enhanced cooperation and sustained support from the Corps to ensure the success of their programmes.
The meeting was concluded with a closing prayer and the taking of a group photograph to commemorate the visit.
